Pesquisa e intervenção por meio da imagem: O recurso fotográfico no cotidiano de varredores de rua

O presente artigo versa sobre o desenvolvimento de um trabalho de intervenção psicológica, à luz da Psicologia Social-Comunitária, junto a um grupo de varredores de rua de Florianópolis, o qual teve como principal mediador o uso do recurso fotográfico. O objetivo foi investigar o sentido do trabalho, a situação psicossocial destes trabalhadores, intervindo na promoção de seu bem-estar, na valorização de sua singularidade, de sua história e de seus desejos, destacando a importância de sua profissão para o contexto social. A fotografia, como recurso, permitiu nos aproximarmos dos sujeitos por intermédio das imagens, facilitando nossa participação no compartilhar os sentidos que eles produziam sobre si e sobre seu espaço. A última etapa do trabalho foi marcada por uma exposição fotográfica, levando ao conhecimento do público em geral uma parte da realidade desta categoria profissional e, ao mesmo tempo, possibilitando momentos de reflexão e contemplação de suas imagens em contextos de trabalho.

ABSTRACT

Research and intervention by means of the image: the photographic resource in the daily one of street cleaners
The present article turns on the development of a work of psychological intervention, under the light of Social-Comunitary Psychology, with a group of street cleaners of Florianópolis, which had as main mediator the use of the photographic resource. The objective was to investigate the meaning of the work, the psychosocial situation of these workers, intervined in the promotion of its well-being, in the valuation of its singularity, of its history and its desires, detaching the importance of its profession for the social context. The photograph, as resource, it allowed in approaching them to the citizens for intermediary of the images, facilitating our participation in sharing the directions that they produced on itself and on its space. The last stage of the work was marked by a photographic exposition, taking to the knowledge of the public one it has in general left of the reality of this professional category and, at the same time, making possible moments reflection and contemplation of its images in work contexts.
