Notes on Plato’s Concept of Virtue

Abstract

Introductory examination of Plato’s concept of virtue especially the question of unity or the parties, the possibility of teaching virtue and relations between the soul and Idea of conditions. The article analyzes the social and historical context of virtue ancient Greece and in the work of Plato, examines some theoretical positions on the problem of unity and party of virtue and learning of virtue on the Protagoras, Gorgias and Menon and, finality, examines the implications of the concept of the soul in Plato’s virtue in design.
