The service´s strategies for protection of children and adolescents

Abstract

This article searches to map the contours of the protection services designed to protect children and adolescents who suffer violence in the midst of their family. The tension between public and private sectors is made explicit and the nature of these services is influenced by that, generating various opposite results and as a consequence the protection is not assured. The increasing number of denunciation, makes the tasks of diagnosing predominant, inhibiting the protective actions. As a consequence, various mechanisms are used in order to filter the denunciation.
