Conceiving a social doctrine to declare a social statute was the way found by the Catholic Church to open dialogues with modernity and assure its social legitimacy. Built on own contexts and fundamented on the principles of solidarity and cooperation, the study of social Catholicism, emerged in Germany and implemented in South Brazil, intends to evidente differences and establish relations between the German and South Brazilian social constructions.
