Abstract

ABSTRACT
Object representation and psychic organization: Dynamic integration of the Rorschach data
It was reviewed the literature about the thematic representations and about the contents present in the verbalizations of the Rorschach psychodiagnosis, considering the dynamic integration of the information and the psychodynamic of the patient’s or examinee’s internal/external world. The authors have reviewed the main approaches and the main work systems using the Rorschach, as to improve the usage of conventional scores, connected to theoretical background and conceptual models. It was noticed that from the 50’s in the 19th century, new approaches on the organization of themes were incorporated to the classical measuring system of verbalization and answers in the Rorschach, generating different but scientifically relevant systems of psychological evaluation. The concept of object representation, the process of dynamic and integrative interpretation between the quantitative data from Rorschach and other pieces of information, constitute the Rorschach as expected, by a clinical psychologist as by a research psychologist in a psychological evaluation.
Key words: Rorschach; diagnostics; schizophrenia; object relationship; projective techniques.
