Socialization goals and action strategies consist of a set of ideas and beliefs culturally constructed by parents as goals to be achieved in the future for their children. The research aimed to investigate the socialization goals and action strategies of parents of children with and without Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). 78 parents participated, of which 39 were children with ADHD (Experimental Group) and 39 without ADHD (Control Group). A questionnaire was used to collect socio-demographic data, as well as two qualitative questions. The answers were transcribed and categorized according to the theoretical model of socialization goals and action strategies. Results indicated that the parents of both groups had their main goals related to self-improvement. Regarding the strategies of action in the EG, the most frequent was the self-centered and in the context and the focused self-centered GC.
