In the present study, we analyze the influence of organizational culture on job satisfaction of employees and the group atmosphere. These variables have an impact on the personal development of employees and productivity. Our aim was to analyze the influence of perception of organizational culture on job satisfaction and group atmosphere in a convenience sample of 210 participants (nurses, teachers). The data, quantitative, were collected through an instrument consisting of three scales: FOCUS (First Organizational Culture Unified Search) (Neves, 2000), Job Satisfaction (Lima, Vala and Miller, 1994) and Group Atmosphere (Jesuino, 1987). We also recorded demographic variables of respondents. The results suggest that culture is perceived as a culture of rules. Organizational culture has a strong predictor of job satisfaction and group atmosphere. These two variables significantly correlated.Downloads
