Obsessive-compulsive disorder is a type of anxiety disorder characterized by uncontrollable rumination of thoughts called obsessions and repetitive behavioral rituals called compulsions. This study aimed to adapt the Obsessive-Compulsive Inventory of Foa et al. for Portuguese Brazilian context. A sample of 216 volunteer college students (M = 27.16 years, SD = 2.18) from João Pessoa-PB. After performing an exploratory factor analysis showed the adequacy of the values obtained for a set of measures multifactorial. The analysis also suggested rates of reliability and internal consistency considerable.Downloads
