Evidencia de Validez Convergente y Criterio para la Escala de Pro-Sociabilidad

Esta investigación tiene como objetivo recopilar evidencias de validez a partir de la relación con otras variables del tipo convergente y criterio para la Escala de Pro-Sociabilidad (EPS). Participó en la investigación 397 personas, de 18 a 69 años (M = 36,88; DT = 12,86), ambos sexos, de diferentes regiones brasileñas. Se requirió un cuestionario sociodemográfico, la Escala de Altruismo y la Medida de Empatía Afectiva y Cognitiva. Se observaron asociaciones relacionadas entre las puntuaciones del instrumento EPS como medidas de altruismo y empatía, además de poder diferenciar grupos en cuanto a sexo, religión religiosa y participación en acciones voluntarias. Estos resultados son compatibles con la investigación disponible en la literatura internacional y pueden considerarse como evidencia de validación para un EPS.
