Abstract

The inseparability of teaching, research, and University–Community Partnership  is at the core of the university concept, aiming at the comprehensive education of individuals for integration into the job market and the full exercise of citizenship. In this context, the Curricularization of University–Community Partnership  in undergraduate programs in Brazil presents a powerful opportunity, ensuring the integration of universities with social demands and promoting educational spaces connected to reality. This study analyzes the implementation of this practice at PUCRS, highlighting its challenges and benefits. The inclusion of university–community partnership  activities in PUCRS’s academic curricula strengthens university students’ education by fostering interdisciplinary learning and social responsibility. It is noteworthy that the effective Curricularization of University–Community Partnership requires structured pedagogical planning and institutional engagement. The results indicate that curricularization contributes to the enhancement of the university experience, positively impacting the community. It is concluded that the continuation of research and university–community partnership practices is essential to consolidating this approach.
