Teamwork Scale for Youth
Adaptación transcultural y propiedades psicométricas para el contexto deportivo

La investigación tuvo como objetivo adaptar la Teamwork Scale for Youth al contexto deportivo brasileño, estimar las primeras evidencias de validez en base a la estructura interna, la relación con variables externas (Pasión por el deporte y Clima Motivacional) y precisión. La muestra estuvo formada por 250 deportistas, de 14 a 24 años (media 18,4 ± 2,38, 59,2% mujeres). El análisis de jueces y el estudio piloto indicaron validez de contenido. El Análisis Factorial Exploratorio (AFE) indicó la adecuación de la estructura unidimensional capaz de explicar el 59,35% de la varianza de los datos. Los indicadores de precisión superiores a 0,85 mostraron un buen nivel de consistencia interna. De acuerdo con las expectativas teóricas, hubo una asociación positiva entre la capacidad de trabajar en grupo con las variables convergentes Pasión Armoniosa y el Ambiente Motivacional Centrado en la Tarea. Los resultados aseguran la primera evidencia de validez para la versión brasileña de TSY y sugieren que el instrumento es una medida adecuada de la percepción del trabajo en equipo en atletas jóvenes.
